Here is bad news of July and it sounds like scam during the turbulent economy of Malawi.A Chinese national tried to take out the foreign currency illegally and was arrested at airport.

It was widely reported in media that it is wide-ranged scam which is hurting the local economy and it is certainly a bad news for declining Forex reserve in the country. Malawi government and officials have taken very serious view of the incident and are trying to get to the roots of scam. Any Forex scam needs to be examined properly so that future incidents could be prevented. All countries have very strong laws against money laundering and it is a serious offence to take out foreign currency without permission.
